Notorious kidnapper popularly known as Vampire paraded in Imo

The Imo state police command have arrested and paraded a notorious kidnapper identified as Henry Chibueze aka “Vampire”. Vampire was arrested after a failed attempt by him and his gang members to kidnap judges of the Imo state tribunal who were lodged at Disney Hotels, along Onitsha Owerri Road recently.

According to reports, security operatives in the state who acted on a tip off, swooped on the gang members as they attempted to kidnap the judges. Vampire and his members fled the hotel with gunshot wounds. He was later arrested at his elder brother’s house where he had gone to treat himself.

When interrogated, Vampire confessed that he operates in many parts of Nigeria, Cotonou (Republic of Benin) and Abijan (Ivory coast), where his family lives. He also confessed to killing some of his victims who were “stubborn” after he kidnapped them.

According to him, his wife, who hails from Cameroon assumes he is a clothes dealer. Items recovered from him included large sum of Ivorian currency, some AK 47 rifles and pistols. Those arrested along with Vampire includes Hakeem Bello from Kwara state, Alexander Ohigide his “native doctor” and a man who claims to be his treasurer. Also arrested was Vampire’s elder brother and wife.

On The N37 Billion Found In Nasarawa Farm

Yesterday, we reported that N37 billion Naira equivalent in USA dollars was allegedly recovered from a farm belonging to a former top government official under Goodluck Jonathan Administration. The farm is located in Nasarawa state.

We can reliably inform Nigerians that indeed seven military Hilux trucks were witnessed leaving the farm in Nasarawa state and were heading to Abuja. We can also reveal that the owner of the farm is NOT necessarily a native of Nasarawa state. Many top government officials in Abuja own farms in Nasarawa sate. Three suspected thieves who allegedly diverted a container loaded with pharmaceutical drugs worth N40m to Igando area of Lagos State have been apprehended by the operatives attached to the Lagos State Police Command.

The suspects, Emmanuel Onyike, 51; Alabi Daudu, 68; and 58-year-old Paul Aina were arrested by the operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad attached to Zone 2, on Saturday, July 18 while other members of the syndicate, identified as Ikechukwu, Babawale, Shola and Alhaji, are still at large. Prophet Commits Suicide Inside Kirikiri Prison

Prophet Destiny Onwudinjo, a pastor of Heaven Divine Ministry, in Shasha, who was in April this year sentenced to 7 years imprisonment after he tried absconding from court during proceedings has committed suicide inside Kirikiri Prison.
 Destiny was arrested and charged to court in April after brutalizing a commercial motorcycle rider, Chika Izuogu pictured above for refusing to pay him N120,000 for deliverance prayer.

Pm news reports that Destiny died from injuries he sustained after he banged his head against the prison gates in his bid to kill himself.

His fellow inmates in prison say Destiny had always felt dejected ever since he came into prison and committed suicide due to frustration. While giving their account of how he died, the inmates said he hit his head several times on the prison wall and his head broke. He later fell down and bled profusely.
He was rushed to a hospital where he was confirmed dead on arrival.
