The Blues slipped to a sixth defeat of the season as a brace from Philippe Coutinho and a third from Christian Benteke cancelled out Ramires’ opener.
The loss leaves Mourinho under more pressure than ever with many suggesting the defeat – and the manner of it – could prove the final nail in his coffin.
When pressed for his thoughts post-match Mourinho refused to be drawn batting away questions no fewer than ELEVEN times.
“I have nothing to say,” he said when asked if the game had got away from his team.
He continued: “I have nothing to say”.
When asked whether Lucas should have been sent off in the second-half: “I have nothing to say.”
Diego Costa could also have been given his marching orders earlier on for a clash with Martin Skrtel but Mourinho gave the question short shrift.
“I have nothing to say, I am sorry but I have nothing to say.”
When quizzed on whether it was time to address the fans after a disaster run Mourinho simply added: “The fans are not stupid.”
And on whether he felt under more pressure from the board and the club following yet another defeat Mourinho responded: “No”
