Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte has said Victor Moses “deserves” his new contract with the club.
The Super Eagles star penned a new four-year deal with the Blues reportedly worth £75,000 a week.
Moses spent the last three years away from Stamford Bridge, on loan at Liverpool, West Ham and Stoke City. However, he has been given a chance to shine by manager Antonio Conte this season.
Speaking at his Friday press conference, ahead of Monday’s game at West Ham, Conte said: “He deserves a new contract. He is a good guy with great technique”.
Moses himself, had expressed his happiness after signing the contract.
The 26-year-old said: “I feel very excited. I’m delighted to be here for another few years now and to sign a new deal. Now it’s time to concentrate on the team and keep working hard to make sure we win games and try to win the Premier League this season.“We’re having a great season, I’m enjoying my football and we have a good manager here that has given every single one of us confidence. I just want to keep on enjoying it and working hard for the team.
